Lamborghini Gallardo

With its sharp creased styling, the Gallardo is the perfect car for those who both want to be seen…. and heard. Put your foot to the floor and the 5 litre V10 wails just over your shoulder and with Audi’s expertise in four wheel drive systems you’ll find yourself taking the next bend before you know it, grinning all the way.Transferring its 500 bhp to the track via E Gear transmission and a fantastic four wheel drive system The Racing School’s raging bull races from nought to sixty in a mere 4.2 seconds and if you are brave enough the Gallardo will finally top out at a staggering 196 mph. Dare you take to the track in this awesome supercar.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

A glorious British supercar the V8 Vantage looks great and handles even better. It loves the race track, moving confidently round sweeping bends and attacking the straights. The V8 Vantage is a fine example of hand-crafted excellence. It oozes suave, cool sophistication, while the sound from its 4.2 litre V8 engine will stir your soul.

Audi R8

The Audi R8 has become the modern benchmark in style and performance. A relative newcomer to the world of supercars it has all the right credentials to become a classic; power, performance, luxury and an ultra-responsive suspension that offers the ultimate ride.Audi’s engineers have definitely pushed the boundaries of racing technology with the R8. This mid-engine two-seater is exquisite. Open up the ‘taps’ of the R8 and you’ll be impressed with its speed, however it is how it feels through the corners that will leave you speechless.

Ariel Atom

For sheer excitement driving the Ariel Atom is off the scale. If you can change gear fast enough the Atom shifts from 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 150mph. All of which feels even more intense because this Atom has no bodywork, so you are totally exposed to the elements.Unlike any other high performance sports car, the chassis of the Atom is an exo-skeleton, meaning it’s predominantly visible from the outside. It doesn’t have a roof, doors or windows. Astonishingly this means you get to see all the action as it happens on the track, so you’ll never miss an apex because you actually see where the wheels are touching.

Porsche 911 Turbo

It is undoubtedly the mind-blowing acceleration that sets the Porsche 911 Turbo apart from all the other supercars in The Racing School’s fleet. Reaching a staggering 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds it leaves most cars wheel spinning on the start line.As well as awesome acceleration the Porsche 911 Turbo is outrageously fast, coming alive at speeds which can’t be driven on a public road. It’s the perfect car to drive on one of The Racing School’s 4 circuits. With the engine at the back, the Porsche has tons of grip and traction, which come in very handy when attacking the corners.

Nissan GT-R

With its 6-speed semi-automatic dual clutch the Nissan GT-R has no problems transferring its power to the tarmac. Its steering is direct and the nose eats in to corners with relish. 0 – 60 mph is achieved in just 3.2 seconds and if you are brave enough to keep your foot flat to the floor on the straights the GT-R will eventually top out at a staggering 196 mph.If you value your driving licence the only safe way to experience the Nissan GT-R is on a race track. Away from the speed camera’s and local police force, the Nissan comes to life on the track, allowing you to feel the full force of this superb piece of Japanese engineering.

Jaguar F-Type R

The Jaguar F-Type R is a real head turner, but the stunning lines aren’t the only things that grab people’s attention. With an exhaust system that has been engineered to burn excess fuel when the throttle is lifted, the Jaguar F-Type R crackles and spits when off the power giving almost as much pleasure when on the throttle. The only place that is safe to put the Jaguar F-Type R through its paces is on a racetrack, that is if you want to keep your licence. The Jaguar is brutal under acceleration, but fortunately the four wheel drive system allows the driver to tame the beast just enough to feel like they are in full control. The F-Type is a worthy replacement for the E-Type, even if it was fifty years in the making.

The Experience

Following a quick registration procedure when drivers arrive at the track, the Three Supercar Driving Experience will begin with a safety and technical briefing that also covers track etiquette once out on the circuit. Following the briefing a qualified ARDS instructor takes the drivers over to the pit lane for some familiarisation laps (Thrill only) driven by the instructor, here drivers will be shown the racing lines, braking points and track positioning, these laps ensure the drivers get the most when they get behind the wheel of their first supercar drive.

Once the first drive has been completed it’s back to the pit garages where the driver will prepare to take their second choice of supercar out onto the track. Second drive over, it’s once again back to the pits to take on the final drive. No matter which combination of supercars chosen, one thing is guaranteed, a truly memorable day behind the wheel of three fantastic supercars.
