Lamborghini Gallardo

With its sharp creased styling, the Gallardo is the perfect car for those who both want to be seen…. and heard. Put your foot to the floor and the 5 litre V10 wails just over your shoulder and with Audi’s expertise in four wheel drive systems you’ll find yourself taking the next bend before you know it, grinning all the way.Transferring its 500 bhp to the track via E Gear transmission and a fantastic four wheel drive system The Racing School’s raging bull races from nought to sixty in a mere 4.2 seconds and if you are brave enough the Gallardo will finally top out at a staggering 196 mph. Dare you take to the track in this awesome supercar.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

A glorious British supercar the V8 Vantage looks great and handles even better. It loves the race track, moving confidently round sweeping bends and attacking the straights. The V8 Vantage is a fine example of hand-crafted excellence. It oozes suave, cool sophistication, while the sound from its 4.2 litre V8 engine will stir your soul.

Audi R8

The Audi R8 has become the modern benchmark in style and performance. A relative newcomer to the world of supercars it has all the right credentials to become a classic; power, performance, luxury and an ultra-responsive suspension that offers the ultimate ride.Audi’s engineers have definitely pushed the boundaries of racing technology with the R8. This mid-engine two-seater is exquisite. Open up the ‘taps’ of the R8 and you’ll be impressed with its speed, however it is how it feels through the corners that will leave you speechless.

Ariel Atom

For sheer excitement driving the Ariel Atom is off the scale. If you can change gear fast enough the Atom shifts from 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 150mph. All of which feels even more intense because this Atom has no bodywork, so you are totally exposed to the elements.Unlike any other high performance sports car, the chassis of the Atom is an exo-skeleton, meaning it’s predominantly visible from the outside. It doesn’t have a roof, doors or windows. Astonishingly this means you get to see all the action as it happens on the track, so you’ll never miss an apex because you actually see where the wheels are touching.

Porsche 911 Turbo

It is undoubtedly the mind-blowing acceleration that sets the Porsche 911 Turbo apart from all the other supercars in The Racing School’s fleet. Reaching a staggering 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds it leaves most cars wheel spinning on the start line.As well as awesome acceleration the Porsche 911 Turbo is outrageously fast, coming alive at speeds which can’t be driven on a public road. It’s the perfect car to drive on one of The Racing School’s 4 circuits. With the engine at the back, the Porsche has tons of grip and traction, which come in very handy when attacking the corners.

The Experience

The Three Supercar driving experience at the Three Sisters race circuit allows drivers to choose three supercars and take them out onto the track known affectionately as “The Jewel of the North”.

On arrival at the Three Sisters circuit, drivers will be taken through a quick registration process, this is then followed by a short classroom session taken by one of our qualified ARDS instructors. During this briefing the instructor will explain track etiquette whilst out on the circuit and also cover all aspects of any technical or safety issues that may arise on the experience.

Once the briefing has been completed, the instructor takes the drivers over to the pit lane where they drive some demonstration laps (Thrill only). Here the instructor will demonstrate the racing lines, car positioning and the braking points, these laps also give the drivers the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the topography of the Three sisters Circuit. It’s then time to put into practice what has been learnt when the instructor takes to the passenger seat and the driver takes to the track for their first supercar drive.

With the first drive complete, it’s time to pull back to the pit lane where the drivers slip into their second choice of car, with their instructor by their side offering encouragement and advice it’s back out onto the circuit to compare and contrast against the first drive. With the second drive completed, the process is repeated for their third and final drive at Three Sisters. Third drive over it’s time to reflect on a fabulous experience and try and work out their favourite car. A truly tough decision!
