The Nissan GT-R may to all intents and purposes be a four seater saloon, but don’t be taken in by its looks, under the skin the GT-R is more than a match for most supercars out there. Brutal power, pin sharp handling and a love for the track that has to be experienced to be believed, this wolf in sheep’s clothing leaves all junior drivers with their jaws on the floor.
With a 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 engine smashing out 494 bhp through its 6-speed semi-automatic dual clutch gearbox, the Nissan GT-R takes performance to a new level when it comes to four seater saloons. Nought to sixty comes in a mind blowing 3.2 seconds and the GT-R has a monumental top speed of 193 mph, combine that with a fantastic four wheel drive system and it’s easy to see why this awesome muscle car has won so many plaudits. It may not be everyone’s idea of a supercar, but it leaves many of them trailing in its wake.

After a quick registration process upon arrival at the circuit, the junior Nissan GT-R experience at Three Sisters starts off with a full safety and technical briefing taken by one of our qualified ARDS instructors. Here the junior drivers will be taught about track etiquette and will have the chance to ask the instructor as many questions as they want and to quiz them about the car, the Three Sisters circuit and their forthcoming drive in the Nissan GT-R.
With the briefing complete, junior drivers will head over to the pit lane where the instructor will get behind the wheel and drive the youngsters for some familiarisation laps, junior drivers are shown the racing lines, where to brake, how to position the car correctly and the general layout of the track. Once these laps have been completed it’s back to the pits where the instructor will take to the passenger seat of the stunning Nissan GT-R, here they will offer advice and encouragement to ensure that all junior drivers get the most out of their six mile drive round the Three Sisters Circuit.
